Neida Promo
The Brief
Neida asked Humanoid to create a promotional video montage for their trade show stand, demonstrating their range of products and services.
The Solution
Humanoid captured Neida’s machining, packaging and dispatch in action. The footage was overlaid with branded annotations.
The Result
Neida launched the video at the 2016 MACH show, and have asked Humanoid to capture more footage for the campaign at their factory on the Isle of Wight.
Humanoid recently delivered a video for Neida, a leading global supplier of precision turned and milled parts.
Manufacturing 250 million components each year to supply every worldwide industry market, Neida occupies three sites in Trentham, Stoke-on-Trent. They approached Humanoid to produce a promotional showcase for their stand at 2016’s MACH exhibition.
The video needed to demonstrate Neida’s full capacity, capture their cutting edge technology and communicate their accreditations in an eye-catching montage that could function as a silent visual display.
Humanoid spent two days at Neida’s various premises, shooting the best of their facilities – from aerial exteriors and wide angles of the machining floors to macro close-ups of the minuscule finished products.
Point-of-view cameras were mounted inside machines to show the intelligent infrared quality control testing, as well as a product’s eye view of the manufacturing process.
“In some cases, the best shot possible is from inside active machinery. Action cameras allow us to get a vantage point where conventional camera systems – or even the naked eye – couldn’t safely go.“
–Ant Thane, Humanoid’s Technical Director
The best shots were edited in sequence and overlaid with branded annotations featuring facts and statistics supplied by Neida. The finished video is edited to music and includes an animated company logo.
Neida were delighted with the finished video, which was a talking point at the MACH show. This forms the start of their video campaign moving forward, which will be extended by further shoots at their Isle of Wight facility.
