Line Painters on the Runway
Humanoid continued the video marketing campaign for long-term client the WJ Group this July, with a shoot at Bruntingthorpe Aerodrome.
Familiar to viewers of TV auto show Fifth Gear, the airfield played host to some much slower test driving as WJ put their newest white-lining truck through its paces.
Designed and modified entirely by WJ’s in-house team, Humanoid captured the truck laying its first white lines from a jib-crane, before recording two of the WJ fleet driving side-by-side, from the back of a moving vehicle.
The shoot concluded with a 360-degree hyperlapse, taking still photographs of the brand new hardware at intervals from all directions. These were processed in post-production to remove slight differences in framing and lighting, then assembled into a click-and-draggable interactive feature on WJ’s website – the success of which led to a commission for two more!
