Humanoid 2025: Looking back!
As 2025 draws to a close, we wanted to take a moment to look back at some of the projects, places and people that shaped our year.
It’s been a busy one. A year of long-term progress filming, practical content, fast turnarounds, and a growing mix of PR and social media support. Most importantly, it’s been a year where the work genuinely delivered results for the clients we partnered with.
To wrap things up for the year, we’ve cast our mind back over to offer a snapshot of some of the standout projects our team has produced over the past twelve months. Grab the popcorn and here we go!
BDB Special Projects – Award-Winning Campaign
One of the most involved projects of the year was our work with BDB Special Projects on the restoration of the historic Queens Park Bridge, alongside their community-led recommissioning of a disused BMX track.
The challenge
To document the project over time while also creating a strong narrative to support a UK-wide industry award submission.
What we delivered:
- Monthly on-site filming capturing each stage of the bridge restoration
- Facebook and LinkedIn social media management
- PR support
- A BMX track launch event film
- A final award submission edit
The result:
The campaign helped contribute to BDB’s award win and boosted awareness both internally and externally. A great example of how long-term filming, video, PR and social can work together.
Staffordshire Fire & Rescue – Behaviour Change Campaign
We worked with Staffordshire Fire & Rescue on a regional behaviour change campaign focused on household fire safety.
The challenge:
To communicate important safety messages clearly, without overcomplicating or diluting them.
What we delivered:
- On-location filming
- Social-first video content
- Clear, accessible messaging for public use
The result:
Practical content designed to support ongoing community engagement and prevention work across the region.
CECA Midlands – Skills & Careers Campaign
The Challenge:
Support CECA Midlands with a regional video campaign aimed at encouraging the next generation into civil engineering. The focus was on showcasing real career pathways, from apprenticeship through to progression within the industry.
What We Delivered:
- Filming across multiple civil engineering sites throughout the Midlands
- B-roll capturing live working environments and day-to-day site activity
- Interview soundbites with young employees who started as apprentices and have progressed in their careers
- A video asset designed for use across events, digital channels and careers outreach
The Result:
An authentic, people-led piece of content highlighting real career journeys within civil engineering, helping CECA Midlands promote the industry to young people and those considering alternative career routes.
Instasmile – Product Launch Content
The Challenge:
To launch their new Aligner product with messaging that felt simple, clear and trustworthy.
What we delivered:
- Testimonial-led films
- Social media assets
- Studio shoots
- A two-stage filming approach to support launch and follow-up
The result:
A clean, versatile suite of assets now used across their website, organic social and paid advertising.
Holdcroft Mazda & Volvo – Ongoing Video Content
The Challenge:
Create consistent, engaging video content to support Holdcroft’s Mazda and Volvo dealerships, helping customers better understand vehicle features while supporting digital sales activity.
What We Delivered:
- Long- and short-form hub content for Holdcroft’s YouTube channels
- Walkaround-style videos led by the sales executive team
- Clear demonstrations of key features and benefits across multiple models
- Content designed for reuse across YouTube, social platforms and website pages
The Result:
A growing library of informative, presenter-led content that supports customer research, enhances digital showroom experiences and reinforces Holdcroft’s brand presence online.
WJ & 3M – Case Study Video
This year also saw us document a UK-first tape-based roadmarking system installed on a dual carriageway, working with WJ and 3M.
The challenge
To create a technical case study that could support future bids, tenders and professional communications, while producing two distinct branded versions.
What we delivered:
- Footage captured at every stage of the project, from pre-works to completion
- One long-form case study edit for each company
- Team-specific social cutdowns
The result:
A strong technical case study asset now being used to support bids, tenders and LinkedIn content.
..And Finally – Bonhams Cars & Motorcycles – Pre-Auction Campaign
We also produced a pre-auction video campaign for Bonhams Cars & Motorcycles, showcasing key vehicles ahead of auction.
We’re proud to say this work has been shortlisted in two categories at the Lens Awards 2026
Looking Ahead to 2026

As we head into the new year, we’re already planning content with several partners, with a growing focus on:
- Studio content (regular social videos, interviews and product explainers)
- Biodiversity Net Gain & ESG communications for construction firms, planning teams and developers
- Product showcases and asset packs
- Fast-turnaround content packages
- Social media management and ongoing content support
We’re also preparing a new studio and workspace, with more control, craft and consistency at the heart of what we do.
Thank You
To everyone we’ve worked with this year, thank you for trusting us with your projects!
From everyone at the Humanoid team, we wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
