STAR European Workshop

The Brief
STAR asked Humanoid to shoot and live stream a series of specialist talks on new dementia care techniques and methods. Highlights should be available later, for people unable to watch the feed during the broadcast.
The Solution
We crewed the TV studio and vision-mixed live coverage of the conference for an online audience of European healthcare bodies, including an interactive Q&A with the web and studio audience quizzing the panel.
The Result
The conference started a Europe-wide discussion about dementia care. A highlights edit reached a wider audience of professionals and affected families who missed the initial live broadcast, and full talks were available for reference.
Humanoid crewed Stafford Television Studio today for the first Europe-wide broadcast by STAR Training.
STAR is a community of EU-financed dementia experts, founded with the goal of supporting the international care community through Skills Training And Reskilling. Streamed live to an online audience, expert speakers shared their experiences and thoughts on dementia care.
The event culminated in the unveiling and live demonstration of STAR’s online training platform, in preparation for its 2012 launch. Audience members in the studio and online were given the opportunity to quiz the panel about the new programme and to share their own thoughts on dementia care.
