Humanoid’s northernmost home is at the bustling heart of MediaCity UK, in Salford Quays.
Our Manchester office has been open since MediaCity’s infancy, and we’ve watched the former Salford Docks grow into the UK’s leading destination for video production. Our presence in Greater Manchester allows us to offer our video services beyond the Midlands into the North West and North of England.
Built on the waterfront, MediaCityUK is a hive of digital and creative businesses, including our neighbours the BBC and ITV. We’ve set up shop in The Greenhouse: a quirky office complex with breakout spaces and meeting rooms to hand. With over 50 media companies in the building alone, it’s a fantastic opportunity to work with emerging talent, and some of the most sought-after freelancers in the UK.
Being part of the MediaCity family also grants us access to 3 large sound stages at the neighbouring Pie Factory. For productions too large for our Birmingham address it’s the perfect venue, with on-site catering, security and accommodation available. We also benefit from immediate links to digital suppliers, providing us quick access to the UK’s largest stock of video production and sound equipment.
MediaCityUK is the perfect place to hold our casting sessions, with a huge number of actors, presenters and models living close by. For meetings and review sessions, why not be our guest at the private members’ lounge, just across from the set of Coronation Street!
We’re easy to find — just 2 minutes off the M602, at the end of Broadway — or take the MediaCity Metrolink, just 15 minutes from Manchester Piccadilly!
