The Dreambuild
The Brief
Forme asked Humanoid to create a short video promoting their “dreambuild” bike donation for a charity auction. The video should encourage bidding and raise awareness of the brand, identifying them as a premium bike component manufacturer.
The Solution
We scouted a suitable location for the shoot and used a 1-camera setup to capture the bike’s construction. A montage of the footage was tightly edited to a music track, with creative sound design and motion graphic overlay elements.
The Result
The video launched to great anticipation from Forme’s online fan base. The release was teased on social media for several days and proved to be their most popular post to date, re-shared by a number of high-profile enthusiasts and celebrities.
Humanoid found their Forme this summer, shooting a product showcase video for rising British cycle brand Forme Bikes.
The video presents Forme’s top-of the-range ‘super bike’ which is up for grabs in a prize draw fundraiser by Action Medical Research for Children.
The bike features some of the most expensive high-end components on the market, donated by leading brands including Campagnolo and Forza. The key statistics and price for each component were highlighted throughout the video to attract enthusiasts to the competition.
Humanoid took over Stoke’s retired Spode factory for the one-day shoot. The camera crew filmed the components and assembly in meticulous detail, capturing the full professional build from unboxing to completion.
The video spearheads Forme’s marketing campaign for the Dream Build Competition.
Humanoid’s Anthony Thane says “being passionate about bikes, it was a real pleasure to work on this project with Forme. The cycle industry lends itself perfectly to video, so we’re excited for future opportunities to expand on what we’ve created here.”
