Stop Your Dog Pulling
The Brief
Wiggins Mitchell Publications asked Humanoid to produce the first in their series of educational guides. The instructional video should clearly demonstrate each step in the process of training an unruly dog not to pull on a lead.
The Solution
Working with expert dog trainers, we broke down the process step-by-step and captured all essential points with real-time and super-slow motion video. The edit illustrates key points further with motion graphics.
The Result
Wiggins Mitchell were impressed with the resulting video and have plans to work with Humanoid on subsequent releases covering other targeted aspects of dog training. Stop Your Dog Pulling is available on DVD and online.
In collaboration with Wiggins Mitchell Publications, Humanoid has been working very closely with dogs of all breeds and temperaments.
Stop Your Dog Pulling is the first installment in the comprehensive Train Your Dog series: a set of instructional video guides for owners of unruly or untrained dogs, for whom traditional training methods have proven ineffective.
“The methods outlined in this guide have proven to be successful where other methods and trainers have failed time and time again. We have successfully rehabilitated numerous dogs that other trainers said could not be helped. These dogs were saved from a life without freedom.”
—Matt Wiggins, founding partner of Wiggins Mitchell Publications
Beginning with the assumption of a totally untrained pet, the video guides viewers through every technique and exercise necessary to solve the common issue of dogs pulling on a leash.
Each step is clearly explained by an expert, illustrated with footage from a multiple angles and in a number of cases, a motion graphics breakdown to demonstrate the perfect footwork.
“There’s a well-worn stereotype that animals are difficult to work with, but these dogs quickly became so well-disciplined that the real test was getting them to misbehave! We used a combination of super-slow-motion camerawork and repetition to make sure we captured their best performances. Almost anything is possible if you have enough sausage meat.”
