Seeing is Believing
The Brief
The WJ Group asked Humanoid to join them at the Seeing is Believing trade show to capture an event highlights video of their products’ involvement in various exhibits and demonstrations around the site. The video should prove the practical effectiveness of WJ’s products.
The Solution
We sent a small, mobile crew to travel quickly around the site between scheduled technical demonstrations, equipped with slow-motion, aerial and low-light videography equipment. On-the-fly interviews were set up at short notice outside the exhibition, as key figures became available.
The Result
WJ were very pleased with the resulting edit, as were the other exhibitors who benefited from our footage. Humanoid’s 2014 video features prominently on the Seeing is Believing homepage, and we have been asked to provide the official coverage for next year’s show.
Humanoid produced an event highlights video showcasing the WJ Group’s prominent role at the 2014 Seeing is Believing trade show.
The annual highways industry convention took place at the Bruntingthorpe Proving Ground in Leicestershire. 2014’s exhibition was a resounding success, with record numbers in attendance.
Our camera crew was on-site to capture the action as WJ profiled their latest innovative products and services. Video was shot from the air during technical demonstrations, and a high-speed camera caught the powerful grip of WJ’s HAPAS high friction surfacing in action during skid tests at a zebra crossing. After night fell, it was the perfect opportunity to record proof of WJ’s super-reflective WeatherGrip and the new Allux prismatic road stud.
Humanoid’s aerial and super slow-motion video provided multi-angle coverage of product demos — in combination with interviews and testimonials from WJ’s industry partners, the resulting highlights must be seen to be believed…
Our team also captured on-the-fly product footage for other companies at the event. This included shots for Rediweld’s cycle lane delineators and Vizreflective’s glow-in-the-dark PPE. Fortunately we brought a super sensitive lens, which managed to capture the hi-vis vest in pitch black from 200 metres!
