Preventing Falls in Older People

Humanoid ran a studio-based conference for the Centre for Ageing and Mental Health, in partnership with South Staffordshire and Shropshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.

The conference dealt with falls prevention in several different categories, looking at the psychology behind falls in the elderly, reducing harm from falls, managing the fear of falling, assistive technology, Tai Chi & changing focus in falls prevention.

As experts in the field exchanged views in a series of presentations, Humanoid captured the action with a multi-camera set-up, vision-mixed live to provide full video coverage of the event.  All the talks from the day are available on DVD for people unable to attend.
