Greenpower Track Day Event
The Humanoid crew spent today filming at Darley Moor racetrack with Greenpower & The Staffordshire STEM Centre.
The event featured custom-built electric cars in the Formula 24 and Goblin Racer category, qualifying and competing against each other. The cars were built by primary and secondary schools and colleges throughout the Staffordshire area.
The Greenpower/STEM partnership is involved with 47 schools and 2 youth groups who have a total of 60 cars between them.
Humanoid captured all the action with cameras posted around the track, as well as great on-board footage and interviews with the pit crews!
Humanoid could sense the teams’ enthusiasm! These events are great for encouraging the younger generation’s interest and giving them hands-on experience in STEM subjects.
