Introducing Flexiwall
The Brief
The Westgate Group asked Humanoid to create a promotional video for their Flexiwall site segregation, showing the benefits to a range of industries and focusing on their customer service.
The Solution
A shoot at Westgate’s headquarters included timelapse videography of Flexiwall’s assembly, footage of the completed product in use and interviews with key members of the sales and support team.
The Result
Immediately upon the video’s release, Westgate saw a 20% increase in web enquiries for their Flexiwall product. It has been well-received by their clients and features in an industry publication.
The Westgate Group commissioned Humanoid to follow the success of their recently-completed Hoardfast fitting instructional video with a promotion for Flexiwall: an advanced partitioning system suitable for factories and warehouses.
In contrast to the Hoardfast guide, Westgate wanted to focus purely on promoting Flexiwall, so the video was designed to be interview-driven, with different members of the Westgate team providing sound bites about various aspects of the product. The interviews, developed with the company’s marketing department, were shot on location at Westgate’s head office in Stafford.
To capture Flexiwall in action, two timelapse video cameras were installed in a warehouse, running for the duration of the assembly. Our camera crew filmed each step in real time from various angles, using a combination of cranes and glide rails to capture how quickly and easily the product fits together. This was intercut with staged shots of a Westgate surveyor measuring up the site and liaising with clients, before designing a custom solution on their CAD system.
The best of the interviews were edited with the supporting video footage, including clips from Humanoid’s archives to illustrate the range of different industry applications for Flexiwall. Stills of major installations were accompanied by captions to demonstrate the product’s versatility and effectiveness.
“The Westgate Group are the perfect example of a company benefitting from the power of video. It’s been gratifying to see all the positive results they’ve had since publishing their first two promotional videos, and it’s no wonder they’re planning to expand their video campaign again in future. We’re looking forward to the next project they ask us to tackle!”

The Flexiwall video takes pride of place on the product’s home page, and has been published on Intralogistics, with a significant increase in sales enquiries from clients viewing the page.
