Driver Training Academy
The Brief
The WJ Group asked Humanoid to create a series of web videos to promote their new LGV driver training and testing centre. The main video should introduce the new school, with a series of shorter montage videos to show the range of training available.
The Solution
We sent a camera crew to the training school and shot a series of manoeuvres in the yard with different vehicles. Mounted action cameras captured interior and exterior shots out on the road. We scripted a voiceover to add structure to the main edit.
The Result
The full set of videos is now live on the Driver Training Academy’s homepage, and has helped to attract a growing number of enquiries from industry and the public. WJ uses footage from the project across its video campaign online and at trade shows.
Humanoid’s latest promotional video project for the WJ Group introduces the all-new Driver Training Academy at their headquarters in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire.
The video demonstrates the full range of training that WJ offer, from Large Goods Vehicle theory and practical assessment to forklift handling and even small trailer training for members of the public.
Over a two-day shoot our crew captured video footage of manoeuvres in the training yard and out on the roads, combining interior and exterior camerawork with dash and vehicle-mounted action cameras. These were edited with footage of classroom training to produce an overall introductory video for the Academy, as well as a range of promo videos for each qualification offered.
