Achieving FORS

The Brief
The WJ Group asked Humanoid to create a promotional video to showcase their latest offerings: an accreditation to work in London and a new high-friction surfacing. The video should emphasise safety measures.
The Solution
We sent a crew to London to capture the new measures in practice, and shot WJ’s new hardware at their headquarters. We scripted and recorded a voiceover to deliver key points, editing the footage to support it.
The Result
The resulting video was launched as part of a newsletter and press release by the Group, and helped to raise awareness of their safety standards. Footage from the project is used to promote WJ at trade shows and online.
Humanoid travelled to London to shoot the latest video production for long-term traffic industry client, Stoke-on-Trent’s WJ Group.
The clip provides a video newsletter to WJ’s partners and showcases the brand new state-of-the art fleet that was introduced to meet Transport For London’s new Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme. It also doubles as a promotional video for Weathergrip, WJ’s newest high-friction surfacing that is being applied to cycle routes acrossLondon.
Working alongside the on-site road workers, our camera crew had a tight window to capture the new lane being sprayed down. This was combined with a sequence of shots from internal, external and vehicle-mounted cameras to capture the new safety hardware at work on the trucks. The video was enhanced with graphic overlays, illustrating the form and function of the new safety measures.
