WJ Technical Day: South West
WJ Group asked Humanoid to capture an event video for the celebrations at the opening of their new South West depot.
Humanoid’s crew captured interviews and B-roll throughout the event, producing a highlights edit of the occasion.
The video was released through WJ’s social media and website to publicise the launch of this modern, flagship depot.
Humanoid travelled down to Wellington, Somerset this week to shoot the grand opening of WJ Group’s new state-of-the-art depot.
The first site designed from the ground up by WJ, the 2-acre facility is the most advanced of its kind in Europe — and was opened with a suitable fanfare.
Our camera crew captured the day’s events — beginning with the arrival of dozens of high-profile delegates from across the sector, who were treated to a series of talks from WJ’s experts, outlining the latest breakthroughs in the industry.
Interviews were filmed during the lunch break, with well-known guests reflecting on the day and showing admiration for the new facilities.
A series of technical demonstrations were performed outside the depot, where WJ’s team showed the assembled crowd how various types of road markings and high friction surfaces are laid and removed.
Humanoid’s camera crew captured multi-angle coverage of the demos, including an aerial perspective from our remote drone, which remained in the air to film the cutting of the ribbon as the new depot was officially opened, followed by a procession of vintage cars.
The best parts of the day were cut together with highlights from the interviews, and released through WJ’s social media and published on their website as part of the grand launch event.
